Auch dieses mal wieder ein guter kauf,
trotz der Versandkosten
günstiger als im guten alten Deutschland.

I bought two of these.
Unfortunately a waste of good money.
The hole for the motor shaft is 8.2mm diameter which will never adequately tighten on the shaft to stop the prop from dangerously exiting the plane under power.
The M8 x 1.25 pitch thread and nut are totally inadequate to tighten a prop securely enough and will strip if you do attempt to get a secure fixing to the prop and motor
shaft.
Typically this adaptor would be used on electric brushless outrunner motors equivalent to 25cc up to 35cc gas engines. At 4HP or 3Kw of potential power output
the motors this adaptor is suitable for will spin props in the range 18" to 22".
This prop adaptor is totally inadequate for this purpose, and is potentially dangerous.
Hobby King needs to withdraw this item until a more suitable replacement can be sourced or the manufacturer redesigns this item.
I have replaced these with an 8mm collet adaptor that has zero slop on the motor shaft, has M12 coarse thread, a thick steel retaining nut and much larger clamping washer/collet outer. It is easy to get good clamping pressures to safely retain a large prop.
Cheers,
Pete.

Excelent product, cheap but good quality. Axle is a bit shorter for big wood propeller.

Very well made adapter. Particularly like the fact that the prop is secured by a nut and the spinner cone is really only decorative, screwing onto the same screw thread.
