MOT0R BURNT UP AFTER 2 MIN INTO 1ST FLIGHT USING 50amp ESC, 3 Cell Battery, and 10 x 4 prop. I was guessing on prop size as HobbyKing does not recommend prop size, even after I contacted them asking for max prop size. If they will not provide complete information needed then I cannot recommend their product

I am going to give this motor the benefit of the doubt. I have installed another in a rcrcm sunbird e-glider and it pulls well on 3S70C & 10x5 cam carbon prop. The model weighs about 1.5kg. A friend and I have been using them on these type of gliders for a while, but he props his up until they melt the enamel off the windings, at which stage they just stop turning. I fly in a more sedate manner, so if I get a good one it will last a little longer. I just picked up two more, and these pair run the temperature of the front casing (where the wires enter) up to 45 - 50 celcius within 10 seconds WITHOUT A PROP. I found the product description amusing, not only because they rate it at 45A. I recommend sunnysky xxx2212 1400 - it is 32g lighter and gives more power for your penny. What's the bet that they censor this honest review! :-)
