The balancer is absolutely useless. Hobbyking should not be selling them. The bearings are hard not possible to balance any prop. Sadly a balancer is a precision tool and this is cheaply made so you can't do the job at all

Lacks the degree of precision that can be had with a magnetic balance. Your prop would need to be horribly out of balance for this to be useful.

Works OK. not sensitive enough for smaller props.
this needs smaller bearings and add-on knife-edge wheels to get rotating torque down a bit.

nice light duty desktop tool

works okay for larger props, but not sensitive enough for smaller light weight props. I have a couple of the magnetic balancers that work better for the little props. About half the price of the competition.

Worthless on light blades

First, it arrived with the bearings contacting each other. Not good. After adjusting to spin freely, tried balancing a 7” poly prop. A Gemfan 7046. It could not rotate itself on the bearings. The shaft would spin, but the bearings didn’t. I even put tape at the end of a blade and nothing. So….worthless.
