These are a really great bargain for tires. The rubber compound is reasonably soft, I'd say they are roughly comparable to "medium" compound for most big brand tires. The foam seems cheap, but it actually works really well, firming them up nicely but remaining softer than the newer closed-cell type tire inserts. I did not measure them before installing them, but the wheel they fit on is approx 3" diameter. I suspect these tires are 2.8" once the bead is taken into account. Given the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how good these tires are. They may not be race quality tires, but they're unbeatable for the price.

I use these on my 1/10 truggy. Awesome for bashing. SOft/medium compound so no asphalt racing, but offroad/grass perfect.
