Works great. I have it on a 160 size AT-6 Texan. It came out nice. I'm using a 10g metal gear servo to have it retract. Will buy more for other planes I have.

Nice retract at a very low price. It is an almost exact copy of same from Robart but at 10 of the price. Suitable for larger foamies and balsa planes. You need a lot of space in the tail section. Please see the File section here, where I have uploaded two pictures showing approximate size needed and how it works.

It is not mentioned on the pictures but the max width of the retract., measured over the screw heads is around 39 mm. You will need wires or nylon lines as well as springs to connect the steering arms to your rudder servo and then a servo to do the retract. This servo can be a mini type as you don.t need much power. The system use toggle arms which locks very nicely in the down position and does not need much holding power from the servo. (similar to mechanical retracts). The max wheel diameter is 30 mm.
