Roco Fleischmann H0 72150 2-8-0 Steam Locomotive S 160 USATC
This is a beautiful scale model of a 2-8-0 steam locomotive that was used by the United States Army Transportation Corps during the second world war. The nickname for this loco was "Klapperschlange" which means "Rattlesnake". The attention to detail is second to none, the pushrod system replicates the real thing to perfection, elaborately designed wheels and other intricate details including the cab interior make this a model to be proud to own.
The 5 pole electric motor is fitted with a flywheel to aid smooth and slow running with drive to 2 of the axles. The loco is fitted with a PluX16 interface on the traction units and is fitted with couplings of the NEM 362 standard close coupling type.
