Tested in my boat with 5000 mah 4s, draught much more than the 38 A said...
My 50 A esc took fire, and the motor whas very hot despite a water cooling ring.
HK : you should check informations in your tabs, this motor is more powerfull than you say . I will recommand at least a 75 A esc, but will bought a 100 A to be sure !

This has to be my best purchase from HK. Installed in a funjet , running a 4s-2800mah,
and reaching speeds of 120-130mph. A 6 minute flight and motor is only warm to touch.
This thing "screams". Great job on this one Hobby King.

Nice little motor. Quality is very nice and looks like it has a good set of bearings on it. Works very well in my NQD jet boat on 3s. Would probably work well in a mini buggy but perfect for marine use. Would recommend to others happily.

shaft lenght 14mm is not correct only 8mm

i can not use it for my gearbox

to send it back from germany it costs me as parcel 15,90 EUR
this is 70pcnt of new price of inrunner

hobbyking offers 14mm and is not able to make me a offer
half price back ore similar

Using one of these in an F5D model with a 4.7 x 4.7 folder on 5S1800 lipo. RPM around 41500... works great!
