got over 25 flights on my scratch built foamy. flying weight of 440g/15.7oz. hovers about half throttle with 3s 1000mah 30c lipo, and 11x4.7 prop. with a 10x3.8sf it pulls about 11amp/115watt. with a 11x4.7sf it pulls about 13amp/140watt. get about 6 min flight and put 600-700mah back into pack with the 11x4.7 . EXTREME POWER FOR A 1 POUND PLANE!

The motor looks nice, but like previous reviewer, mine could not be rotated without feeling internal rubbing. I would not feel safe connecting this motor to electrical power for fear of an explosive failure. Also, there is no way to connect a prop to the bell housing side of the motor, so you're limited in how you can mount and use the motor. I would not buy this motor again.

Mine came without the prop adapter/prop shaft that screws onto the opposite side of the exposed shaft. Can't use it the way I need to .

Upon spinning the bell, it does not spin true.



I will give it 4 stars IF it is an excellent performer.
