These motors are now being sold under the Evolution brand name for the same price and marketed by Horizon Hobbies I believe.

Why so many backorders on radial glowengines for a such long time? I think it woluld be better to remover these items. I have been waiting for a lot of months on the message that you have gort these engines back, and still hoping har I can buy a radial engine from you.

Further my earlier post, I have this engine on a 2700mm span Biplane weighing 11 Kilos ( a modified Green model Jenny) the performance is outstanding with a 22x12 prop, I find 5-10 nitro keeps it reliable in flight no onboard glow used, I made a collector ring exhaust from 16mm tube 210 mm diameter, this is not an engine for the novice as it is very easy to lose a pushrod or a tappet from its guide in a nose over, even so this is my very favourite engine and I hope HK gets some more in stock soon so others can enjoy, I want a 9 next

I have one of these 7-70 radials,it looks fantastic i think the quality is great, the factory test figures for my particular engine are: idle 1350 RPM Max RPM 5300 on a 24"x8" prop head temp 60c. the book says 80% Methanol 10% synthetic oil, after break in 6% synthetic, no nitro required. or with 5 to 10 % nitro 7% oil, if anybody is interested here is the manufacture's web address http://www.umstech.in they make a lot of stuff ..

My mate had one of these when they were German made, and paid over twice as much for it.

The castings of the head on these Indian manufactured ones are nicer than the old German castings which were a bit on the shallow side for the fins.

Am looking forward to getting one, which will be soon!

I have my 7-70 in a 90" Corsair and it has plenty of power using a 22-12 3 Blade. The sound is incredible. I'm glad I decided to use this engine. WAY COOL!!

I now have the 7-70 and 9-90. The 7-70 is a great running engine!! All cylinders run evenly and the engine is reliable down to 1000 rpm WITH OUT glow power! The 9-90 is getting there too. 7-70= 5200 rpm with a 22x12 prop and the 9-90 is 5600 with a 24x12 prop. These will fly many planes with authority.

Have seen these in real time and are unbelievable in sound. The bad thing about these engines on offer is that they are made in INDIA. Searched the internet and proves it, if you dont belive me TRY IT. They are definately not German made., only German Design. Other goods made in India are in the quality similar to what comes out of the opposite of a cows head. Save your hard earned dollars and consider something else. Spares are

ZERO
