Product arrived crushed and obviously crushed by warehouse staff before leaving HK as it was the inner boxing that was crushed and had been repaired with tape. The outer boxing was in perfect condition. HK offered to send a replacement Wing but nothing arrived for 6 weeks. So i call to see why there is a delay. Then HK claims they now can't replace the damaged items so instead offer a $50 credit to replace a product that cost $106 $38 postage. What sort of pathetic warranty is this. How can I reorder a replacement product with $50 of credit. HK this is how you create extremely irate customers. By sending damaged goods that must go into the bin then offering a credit for less than half the cost. HK you are pathetic...

Product arrived with wings broken in half. Product box had been crushed and repaired with tape even before second boxing before leaving HK warehouse and not damaged in transit. After 39 orders this is first damaged one. Come on HK some QA in the warehouse. Don't send goods that are already damaged. Replacement wing promised by HK but nothing sent yet. Let's see how long it takes. Other comments indicate this could take many months.

It looks fast, it is fast ... yes indeed but not VERY fast ... but it flies very well and the control is very nice !
Quality of building is good, especially for the wing. The fuse is too light and so too fragile. I have reinforced with glass and carbon in the middle. Beside, the cooling ot the engine is insufficient (the engine was very very hot at the end of the flight) : I have made two other holes near the spinner.

I like to fly very fast planes, especially for Pylon Racing, and my question is, if this plane can exceed 380 Km per hour with a Nitro Nelson motor for this kind of race?

Hello Hobbyking,

The Fuselage is far too heavy.
The Wing is far too wobbly and soft.

I would strongly advise not to use a propulsion system with any real power.

Lighten the Fuse and put a Spar into the Wing with at least 2 Carbon Rovings top and bottom.

Well i bought this machine a few weeks ago to put together was easy as i am running a 3 s 2200 lipo with a 4.75 * 4.75 prop wow tne speed:-)was extreme using a 60amp esc and a 4850kv arc motor the only rhing i dident like was wings looked scratched and dull not shiney like the pic shows and really all red hard to see in the sky red top and bottom also had to mount the motor with down thrust for the fire wall has alot of up thrust once i got it right flys great easy to launch and extreme speed also i like it

Just received it yesterday. This one is as an upgrade of the now out of stock Drago Red that I have bought too. The Drago Red had a very slick fuselage that allows you to use just a 1000 mA poli pack. But both models still have a big issue in their elevator. The elevator balsa is very soft and fragile mainly at its central section. As this plane is fast it will be suicidal don't reinforce it with carbon sticks up and down.

Just recieved this plane. Looks ok, the finis is not as good as the HK FOX (fiber glass). But its ok. The wing is not as stiff as i would like. The spinner size is 35mm, not 30-32mm as stated above. I am going to use D05010MG digital mg servo on aileron and HXT 900 on elevator. Motor is going to bee Turnigy 480s on 4 cell 1800mAh Nano-tec and 4,75X4,75 prop. 65A ESC. There is room for the 4 cell battery, no problem. For the price this plane is nice. You need to pay 4 or 5 times more to get some thing better.
