I got the radio with the solo pro so I decided to buy this cheap plane to have at least one other use for the expensive radio.

The plane is small but it is also fast and needs a surprisingly large area to fly and to land. Yet glide ratio is not good enough to soar on upwards wings alone, especially as the plane gets thrown around by gusts very easily.

Wings are bendy, they bend a lot when doing loops (the only trick you can accomplish with this plane), but they didn't break. For for a bit more stability I added carbon strips inside the wings.

The biggest problem however are the servos, which are too weak for the surfaces. You do have just enough power from the motor to get out of emergency situations, but the controls are too weak to turn the plane very fast. I might try to cut free the foam hinges and replace them with tape to reduce the load on the servo...

I have crashed on pavement a few times without scratch. The wing pops right off to minimize damage and the nose absorbs shock well. My motor shaft bent a little and I wished to try to correct it, but unfortunately the nose screw was too tight and I can't get it to come off.

Flight times are long indeed long, I can fly around for a good 20 minutes on a single battery.

This is a wonderful plane. I rebuildt mine because the original servos was to slow.
I put 3,7g servos inside, a 1811-2900 brushless in front, the mini swift prop, a 10A esc and a orange/spektrum 4ch receiver.
All in all up weight from 110g to 118g. Now its a very fun airplane and plenty speed and power.
Wil recomend this to everyone
To fly stock or rebuildt.

The plane flies great! However the electronics suck! I had to add the electronics from a UMX beast and this little glider is great! But why should I have to do so much R-N-D for a ready to fly model. Buy the kit and make it your own. That being said, I added a belly wheel from a UMX stryker and it really does a great job of protecting the glider on pavement. I Love the way this plane flies! Thermals without effort and has no nasty tendencies ie: tip stalling. I would purchase another one but only for the air frame.

Even nicer than I anticipated, looks majestic in the air and its smooth running motor really gets it up there. Well made, my only gripe is that Nine Eagles' servos, while hobby grade, are more low end hobby grade, not as precise or responsive as I'd like, and can be jammed much too easily if a loose battery wire even touches them. I'd LOVE to see Durafly outdo this with a 2S brushless motor, Plush ESC and 1.7g HK-5320 in something like a Grob motorglider. The Fournier looks nice but it's WAY too heavy, which is why I purchased this. Come on, Durafly, I bet you can do it!
