Skywalker X-8 FPV/UAV Flying Wing 2120mm ARF

This is the latest version of the ubiquitous X-8 FPV wing from Skywalker Technology. The original BIG FPV wing!

Now featuring injection molded plastic parts in place of the original plywood ones in high-stress areas, the X-8 has been specifically designed from the outset as an FPV/UAV platform, it has been customized to make the most of the flight stabilization and auto-pilot systems.

A truly distinctive looking and fantastic flying FPV/UAV platform molded from EPO so it's as tough as they come!
This model has a vast equipment bay beneath the large removable top hatch, with space inside optimized to make maximum use of the space, with camera locations inside the nose and at the front for a forward oblique mounted camera such as a Turnigy Action Cam or GoPro.

Just like the earlier version, this X-8 has an excellent glide performance with fast low power cruise speeds in the region of 80-90 kph so that you can cover ground quickly if needed, perfect for large area surveying.

Transporting the airframe is easy. The wing panels slide onto the twin carbon fiber tube spars before being bolted onto the fuselage and the vertical stabilizers are fixed to the wingtips using screws.

Molded hand holds beneath the fuselage make for easy hand launching of this impressive, high-performance FPV/UAV straightforward and the advanced aerodynamic design takes care of the rest, allowing you to focus on getting great video and admiring the imposing silhouette that is the X-8!
