i really love this soldering station! The price is unbelievable and is very good quality foor the good price. This a good soldering station for regular quadcopter, rc building and work and is adequat for the job. I ordered it with the 10 pins (also on hobbyking). I recommend it to change the tip to a thicker one because the provide one is a bit thin. Also replacement irons/spares are very cheap!

Very good quality tough you will need a bigger tip. Hobbyking sells a pack of 10 tips for quite cheap or you can look elswhere by searching for Hakko type tips.

This is fine for the smaller things you need to solder.
Quality, well hey look at what you're paying for it. Don't expect to much.
When it comes to soldering like 10 or 8 AWG wire and 4, 5mm bullets, you better find something else because this station just won't cut it even when set to maximum temperature.
Anything smaller than that, it does the job.

Good product for an excellent price. It's an entry level transformer temp controlled soldering iron, much better than any non-regulated (110/220V AC) soldering iron. Of course it can't match weller & other hi quality brands but the price is 10pcnt of what they demand. Very good for RC and similar application where you will use it for 1-2 hours. It's not meant for constant 12h work since the handle slowly heats up. My only complain is that the delivered tip is very small and usable only for soldering smd components. Get SKU 722000001-0 for bigger and more usable tips. With them this product is the last soldering iron you will buy for your RC needs!

Value is just nothing near to compare!
Soldering station with feedback temperature for such price?! Only complaint - tip of solderer is so tiny, I would use bigger even for smallest PCB boards!

Great solder station which will serve you purpose without impacting your wallet. It's actually a Yihua 936, which is almost identical to the Hakko 936. The included tip is very small and is useful for precise or smd soldering. You can get different types of tips on ebay with search keyword 907A soldering tip. I got myself 10 different tips in a set for about 5$. The temperature control potentiometer feels a bit cheap and so does the bottom without rubber feet ,but the device itself is pretty robust, except for the cheap plastic, but hey,who cares 'bout plastic. It's important that it serves it's purpose. Also the handle cable is really nice and soft so it does not obstruct maneuvering the handle.
I'm satisfied and would highly recomend it to anyone.

Love this soldering station. It is cheap but it is very good.
The tip is to small for most jobs, but you can get cheap ones on e-bay.
I like it is not digital because it is very easy to set the temp.
