Brilliant wing, I don't think I'll ever be without one!

I'm a pretty new RC pilot, and this was my first wing and EDF. It's absolutely brilliant! Easy to hand launch (first time at that too) and can be a slow, docile angle or a speedy, agile devil ripping through the sky. I've not had a chance to try it on 4S yet, but it doesn't really need it, it'd quick enough on a 2200 3S. It glides really nicely, but this means sometimes it simply doesn't want to land, it enjoys flying too much. Seriously though, you do have to slow down for landing way more than you think.
I have my Taranis set up with a 3.5 min timer linked to throttle percentage, which means 3.5 mins balls out, but you could be up there ages if you glide more, my average flights I'd say are between 7 and 10 minutes on the 2200 3S. Word of warning, you want to have a minimum of 30C discharge rate, below that it grumbles.
I don't want to be without one of these amazing planes. As soon as they're back in the UK or EU warehouse, I'm going to buy another to keep boxed in case the worst happens, especially at their current amazing price (£43 on the global warehouse). Hurry up and get them back in stock in Europe HobbyKing!!!

Good little flyer

Fun little delta wing. Very quick and easy to build and it flys really well. Even on a windy day it handles well and is very agile with a nice, slow landing speed. The battery compartment is a bit of a weak area, it's very small requiring the electrics and battery to be quite compressed to fit. The esc also gets quite hot partly due to the squishy compartment. I also lost the battery cover on the 2nd flight, a gust of wind blew it off and I was unable to find it in the grass... Have to try and make a replacement.

A fun to fly model

This is a fun model to fly that can keep the fingers moving over the winter months. Easy to put in the car, small batteries required and simple to rig at the field. Only downside is the size of the ESC and the small compartment in which it is stowed with the battery. If it is good value and fun you want then I would recommend it.

great, but the engine could be stronger

Great product. It flyes fast, but the motor is a little bit weak. Take off can be challenging and it cannot ascend 90degree vertically. It needs speed, otherwise hard to control and easily stalls.
Servos are ok, but the ESC is unknown (nothing written). It is an old stlye, huge, ugly one. Does anybody knows the exact type of it?

Hello,
Yesterday the first flights with a lot of wind.
It flies very quickly and without problems. Regarding the travels of 30 mm is too much. For me 15 mm without expo is perfect .Not beyond 25 mm otherwise the servos will broken.

...ein sehr gut zu fliegender Nurflügler, mit dem Impellerantrieb sind kaputte Druckpropeller Geschichte. Außerdem besteht dadurch keine Verletzungsgefahr. Einen 3S 2200er Akku bekommt man geradeso rein... Klare Kaufempfehlung!

hi first of all the plane flys great,but for some reason on landing the plane will just about all the time flip over even when you come in spot on,but over all a great plane to fly..well done hk..o and plz bring back the SE5 A..thx mark..
