The prop adapters keep falling of the motors. No matter how hard I tighten them. Be warned. You will need some sort of landing gear if you mount your battery under the frame. I'm using kk2 with hobbykings 20amp esc flashed with Simonk. Flies ok once you get it tuned in.

This frame package is a good deal for a beginner, but suffers from poor design and quality issues.
Quality wise, my frame came with screws that were too large to fit through the holes in the aluminium plates - I had to manually enlarge each hole first before attempting to use these screws. After getting the screws 80pcnt of the way in, the heads stripped on EVERY single screw. Instead of being a cross head, they are a tiny Hex/allen key, whilst I had the right tool, the poor quality of the screws meant that as soon as they started meeting resistance, the head was stripped, rendering them all useless. I had to buy a new set of screws (which are very hard to find and expensive due to their size).
Design wise, the frame leaves no space for a battery, you are left to mount it underneath. The legs are too small for this and your quadcopter is expected to land on the battery which is hugely dangerous. Take a look around online and you will notice anyone with this quad has had to buy/build their own legs to get around this issue.
The redeeming factor is that the motors seem to be pretty decent and its fairly good value overall. Although I would rather have spent 10pcnt more and got a similar deal elsewhere for a better quality kit.

Great kit for the money, plastic arms can break easily if your a beginner but it's cheap enough to replace even buy a new kit for spares. Motors are very good, very happy with it. Flies awesome.

Loving this quad. I'm using an emax 4x esc with the kk2.1.5 board. Flies like a toy Hubsan quad - in a good way. Very responsive. Much smoother than a 450 size and big enough to still see. I get 13 minutes on FPV with a 3700mah battery. I stink at FPV, but I get similar flight times flying it harder line of sight. Amazing. Had one mishap that broke the foot on of the arms and nothing else. My 450 quad would have been in pieces.

Excellent product. Not a lot of space between plates but easy with use of standoff.
Motors are powerfull.
My setup:
ESC: 30a afro
FC: KK1.5v4sc
HK PowerBoard 3.5mm bullets
3S 2200 ZippyCompact
13 minutes flight

My first Quad, Flies like a champ with the HK 2.1 board. All in without a radio the build was $110.00 US. Can`t beat it ! total assembly time about 3-4 hours. Motors are so quiet my friend with a DJI Phantom is jealous. I had to dial in lower rates on the T 9x it is so sensitive to stick movement.

Great quadcopter to get in the hobby , good value .
Do not overtighten the screws, you must buy m3x10 screws seperately to mount the motor.

It's a nice looking frame, but it has some downs. The holes for the lower aluminium plate didn't quite fit. Some force was needed to get the screws in with an angle.
Second problem is that the holes for the motors were fitting, but the screws length didn't allow to really get more than one or two turns into the motor.
I needed to make some corrections here. A little longer screws should do the job, but I worked on the plastic of the arm.
And the last downer: the motor on full throttle is really bending the arms. They should be a little more stiff imho. But that shouldn't matter too much, when in the air.

Still I love the product, but it could be a better quality to make it perfect.

My configuration is with a NanoWii controller (MultiWii 2.3) and Afro 20A Slim ESCs.
The Motors fall out of sync again and again and I need to investigate how to fix that. But thats another story... related to the ESCs I guess.

I've bought several of these. The motors, props, and arms are what break, so it's a really good repair kit for itself. However, the recent ones I've bought all have the same stupid flaw, the bottom panel has the holes drilled in the wrong place! They don't line up with the leg holes at all. I compared it to one that I built about 6 months ago (The first one) and the legs are the same, but the bottom plate's holes are in a different place... Bummer, because I'm trying to build a second one right now.

It's really good, very stable frame. Frame weight is 170 g, frame motors escs (Multistar 15A) is 400 g, take off weight (with Zippy 1800mAh 3S, Hobbyking Multi-Rotor Control Board V2.1, Turnigy 9X receiver and some wires) is 645 g. Hovering power consumption 6-7A with 3S, flying time is about 15 min. 2S setup is not flyable.
This quad could take up to 350g payload, but i prefer flying with FPV equipment of about 90g. There's enough space to place an Arducopter board with GPS module and telemetry small FPV set.
To sum up, it is an excellent, extremely durable quad and it's very affordable!
