Very sturdy free fligt model. You can fly very big distanses. When there is no wind you can get a plus100 meters.

Tip, the iron ring where the elastic is hold bend it so you rubberband cant get off

well, the rubber band twists up just fine, the plane flies for a little bit like it should and toddler feet should not land on it

Great looking plane, Fly's really well.
Arrived safe and sound, well packed.
Goes together perfectly, top quality.
Will be buying more of these to add to the fleet.

Have now converted it to R/C, yet to maiden, waiting on weather.

Nice plane, but needs carefull hands. I'd say not suitable under the age of 8. Uh and do not wind it up 200 times, the bungee will break!

4 stars because fuselage part is foam too. All other freeflight models have wooden frame. But yeah foam is lighter so maybe better for 3D. But how to fly 3D with that thing is a question. Vertical up in da sky?

These are great kits, planing on doing an electric conversion. Nice little kit if you want one for the kids to play with while you fly your big toys.

Best quality build rubber plane I've ever bought and looks great too. But it don't glide too well so it would fly about 20m. I would do two windup rows, extra rubber could improve it. I had some el-cheapo planes that would glide well even without power, this one doesn't. On the other hand the el-cheapo planes would brake real fast, this plane is fairly strong and takes crashes well. I also bought the smaller Spirit of St.Louis which actually flies better. Over all it's great for kids, they like the planes and get enough play time without breaking them too soon.
I should mention that I think it would not be too hard to turn this plane to decent small RC. If kids get sick of winding I'll do just that.
