All around awesome edf great fly times with this bird with several different mah battery options , easily my favorite edf all time. hIgHLy recommended . I also have the kit and installed my own dr thrust with yep speed controllers insane performance but heavy and tough to land, overall stock is a better option unless your a awesome pilot which I just OK . Highly recommended. a

Both rudder servos stopped working after 3 minutes of testing. Got points back for them, but now I suspect it was the speed controllers... I would recommend kit version.

Great jet. Using a 4500 and 5000mah batteries, getting roughly 6 mins flight and flies very well. ESCs failed on first connect.

Reciever the SU from Aus warehouse. Took a lot longer than expected to get to S.A 10 days after sent from the warehouse. As for the plane, the design of this plane is so far above any other of the many planes I have bought. Freewing have put everything together so well, very little glue is needed. Elevators, wings and vert stabs are all easily removed for replacement of transport. All the electronics and servos are easily accessible for maintenance and replacement. Only I complaint I have so far is the rudder vector servo buzzes and doesn't centre well and I will change it before flight. Also I have installed a seperate castle creation 10amp bec incase the stock esc fail which I think is an necessity for any large model especially when the electronics could be questionable. A static watt test showed the model drawing 90amps and 1900w at full throttle using a zippy 6s 4500mah 45c. The esc's got quite hot quickly but this may be due to them getting no airflow as stationary. While in the air the esc's will get high airflow due to a vent which is another great design by freewing. I would recommend probably a 5000mah batt in future due to flight times and for cg issues. I have used a 6ch remote for my model but an 8ch remote would be best so you can turn the 3 different vectors on/off when needed. Ill report back after maiden but as for now all I can say is its a top quality kit and

Would have been a 5 star product if made from EPO and with better quality electronics.

Very impressive quality out of the box. Easy to assemble if you know what you're doing. Can be done in a few hours. I was new to EDF's and it took me two days. The programming of the radio was the biggest challenge. You will need help programming if you are new to flying.

If you are new to flying please note that this IS NOT a toy! I made the mistake of treating it like a park flyer. It is not. You need a big field, and a smooth runway. The gears are solid, but will rip off the foam with moderate abuse.

Flies like a dream. Just as advertised. No complaints there.

My biggest suggestion is to change the elevator pushrods outwards and to lower the rates on the radio. The elevator is extremely powerful on this jet. There is no way a beginner and average flier can handle this thing on full rates. I narrowly dodged 3 crashes before adjusting the rates. I cut it 50pcnt and it flies perfectly. Activate the thrust vectoring, and even with low rates and outward pushrods, it's as aggressive as you want to be.

Finally, you should turn off thrust vectoring on first flight until calibrated.

That's it! That is what I learned from the setup process. Hopefully this can save some people from crashes.

Bought one of these from the Aus warehouse. Still get amazed how big this edf is. Looks beautiful and very scale. The overall build and finish is really nice. My only complain is that one of my elevator servos was dead on arrival and another one from the right thrust vector was faulty so I had to replace them with high quality servos. My advice would be to check all your servos properly before your first flight as it would be sad to loose such a nice plane because of a $2 cheap servo installed by the factory. As always I am amazed how the Quality Control Department can miss out on such major faulty items. Lucky for me that my servos were dead on arrival and that it did not fail in flight. Installing high quality servos all around. Have also heard a few people complaining about the ESC failing so fingers crossed.
