Tamiya Lacquer Thinner (250ml bottle)

Tamiya Lacquer Thinner is absolutely stunning for thinning Tamiya acrylic paints, it gives an excellent finish and stops your airbrush tip blocking up, especially when using fine needles. it also makes the paint harder which is good when you wish to sand down in between coats. The lacquer thinner can also be used to remove oil and paint from painting tools and brushes. The lacquer thinner can also be used to thin Tamiya putty, liquid surface primer and lacquer paints.

Thin the paint enough so that the mixture is a similar consistency to that of milk, do not over thin otherwise the finish will look opaque and will run more readily. Approximately 30% is a good starting point for spraying, experiment on a test piece first.
