Bought 2 set sof these. Although they look good none of the 8 actually clamped onto the pin or axle shaft. Tightened the screw all the way down, and the hex slipped right off. The could work as hex adapters, but would need to be held in place by the wheel.

Would not purchase again

I usually don't post reviews, but this product is too bad to pass.

I purchased the wheel adapters to use with a Tamiya TT-02, since original Tamiya aluminum hex hubs cost a lot of money.

As other reviewers are saying the quality is terrible. The screws seem too short and strip very easily, so you end up with an adapter that you cannot lock on the pin. This should be the main feature of locking adapters.

The worst thing that I have found however is that the groove where the pin should settle is machined at different depths between the left half and the right half of the hexagon.

This causes the adapter to lock on the axle with a wrong angle, resulting in a huge wobble of the wheel.

Note that I have purchased two sets of adapters and some seems to be machined better than the other, but they still have other problems like the screws that don't lock.

If you find a lucky set they may work a little better, but I advise you to save your money and buy some other brand adapters.

This is the first product I buy from HobbyKing that I totally dislike.

Back in November 2013 i ordered these and received them marked 6mm, but measuring 5mm.

Made a warranty claim and after a month of mucking around and HK trying to get me to pay for them again they sent me a new lot.

These were also marked 6mm, measuring 5mm.

Perfect for Trx Slash rear. Good quality and fit. Use drop of blue thread lock to secure the small screws when installing.

They look great, but precision is terrible. one of adapters does not fit into a pin, so I needed to shave an edge. Another does not accept screw well, so I tightened it a lot, but an adapter came off with wheel when I took it off.
