Great motor,

using 12s a123's and a 18 inch prop. Replaced bearings with ceramic and what a difference. I also glued the magnets with jb weld and its a new motor. i'm kinda anal when it comes to having parts fly off at high speeds and I'm pulling 1700watts and getting 8min flying times with mazzive vertical.

Using it on a Seagull Edge 540 .60 on 8S, 18x10 together with the Sentilon 100A. Makes the plane too heavy but it's still okay and the motor delivers loads and loads of power.

Der Motor ist zwar beeindrukend was die Leistung und en Preis betrifft. Er wird aber ziemlich warm und hat eine betrchtliche Unwucht, die ber 5000 U/min sehr strt.

First up, this motor is amazing value for money.



Having said that, I bench tested the motor, and then used MotoCalc to establish the specs. I found them to be quite different to what is published. As a result of the higher kV, I will be running it with 7S instead of 8S LiPo and a 16x12 prop.



Based on MotoCalc's predictions, I would seriously hesitate to run this motor on 10S with a 19x12 prop.



Specs are as follows:



Constant - 320kV

No Load Current - 1.44A

Resistance - .047ohm



I can't wait to put it in the air and see what it can do!

Der Motor ist der Hammer! Mit 9s 5000mAh und 16/10 zieht er meine 7kg Pilatus + 3kg Segler mit 3/4 Gas. Wenn ich mein Fahrwerk umgebaut habe werden es 10s mit 19/10. Werde dann berichten.

This motor is a great motor except for the magnets coming loose and sliding back.



Anyone had this problem?



Flies a Adrenelin & 2mt pattern plane on a 17x12 APC no problem. Hover, Torque rolls



Do we need to run high timing when running 10s batteries.
