I purchased the TR 35-48-C for my 72" Aeronca Champ. I have a 14x8 prop on it with a turnigy plush 60 amp esc running with 2 Rhino 3S 2200 mah packs connected in parallel. This setup can get this going almost vertical, plenty of power! This motor has got quite a range on it. When I took the plane to the field my buddies said the motor was too small for the plane and it wouldn't fly, but when I hit the throttle boy did she go. Overall a great motor at an even greater price

Equiped my 3Kg Ka6 3,2m glider with 4S and 13*6.5 folding prop which gives a very confortable climing rate and low electron consumption (over 5 min of full throtle with 4S 3000 mah)

Excellent setup for that type of application. After more then 50 flights quality is perfect.

This is a wonderful motor for electric sailplanes, 3 or 4 cells (depending on power you would like to get). I have 2 of these in use. One uses a 3 cell (2200) pack, 13x6.5 folder (APC) and draws about 20A. The other is a 5lb plus, 135" wingspan sailplane that uses a 14x8 prop, 4 cell pack (4000mah) and draws about 45A.

The only caution i give is that the windings should be checked prior to running. Two of the ones i have (I have 4 of these) were very loose, I pushed the wires down and put a little cyanoacrylic glue on them.

Bought this to replace the stock geared drivetrain on a Parkzone Typhoon 2 and it worked great, good power and KV selection. The prop shaft (bolts on the front of the motor) was a little out of true, but wasn't an issue in service. I was very happy with this until I stuff the plane in the ground and bent the motor shaft, now I'm buying another one!
