Converted a 1/8 Kyosho Inferno to electric with this motor paired with a HobbyKing X-Car Beast Series 120A ESC, and running an 18t Pinion with a 48t Spur, powered by 5s LiPos.
The power this motor provides is awesome, excellent torque without sacrificing speed! Even with a big 5000mah 5s lump of battery my buggy still rockets! Great acceleration, great braking, great speed, great value!

I run this motor in my hb ve8 with the hobbyking 1/8 120a esc, turnigy 4s 5000mah 20c lipo and this motor is a beast! Low operating temps, tons of torque, tire ballooning speed, awesome value, highly recommended!

Ilove this motor, running it 4s in a converted ofna lx1 this thing has allot of kick. im probably running too low of gearing as it can almost pop a wheelie now. haven't hit the track yet but it seems promising, a bit stiff though when free spinning, but that is probably just the large magnet. runs cool and smooth in the car though. running with hk 120 amp esc

questo motorello davvero di buone prestazioni ed leggero il giusto. Lo trovo prestante e molto sincero nella risposta e con totale assenza di coccing. L'unica cosa che non all'altezza sono le temperature che tendono a salire con troppa facilit. La prossima occasione prender quello con i sensori rosso, sempre da 1900KWh.... Intanto credo che, temperature a parte, sia un buon motore.

Installed motor in Losi 8ight 2.0 I have ran about 4 batt packs threw the motor. overall power is great. 15 pinion 46 spur. Motor dos get a little wormer than normal after about 8 min

This motor is sweet. Comparing it along with my castle 1406 5700kv motor, this feels far better. (Dare I say so). It's huge compared with the standard 540 10th scale motors. I only tested this motor on a 3cell lipo as I had put my beloved traxxas slash up for sale. Pairing the motor with a castle mamba max pro esc, it was brilliant. The torque even on 3s is brutal. Temperature stayed nice and low and my 3s had no problem getting the rpms churning out. I reccomend this motor as an ideal replacement for blown 1/8th motors and even as a great basher motor in 10th scale short course trucks includeing traxxas slash, hpi blitz. It's a tight squeeze in the slash, but once you've got it installed you're in for some seriously fun times. Well worth the price and it'll probably outlive alot of the muvh more exspensive motors. This motor is even cheaper than the traxxas titan 550 brushed motor. On thing to note, is you will need a pinion gear with a 5mm bore to fit the motor shaft and the motor connectors are 4mm. Apart from that this thing will really push your rc to the limit and possibly beyond what you thought was possible with your model.

I use this motor for racing in a LRP S8 BXE buggy with 14/46 ratio. Very good performance, only 76 maxAmp with 4 cell LiPo and very good temperatures!
Looks good quality, time will tell the lifetime.
