This servo works good, centers better than my recent Hitec purchases. The problem is I'm not sure I can use them because the ailerons they are connected too sag when not powered , very little resistance, when powered they jump up to center and start buzzing due to the weight of the ailerons. I'm not sure they won't overheat if I continue to use them on the ailerons. They would work great on a surface thats not so heavy like the rudder or any smaller control surface, the ailerons are about a third of the wing surface on a 60in Corvus.

Good servo, worked great and strong. I did break the gears in a really heavy crash, but you can buy replacement gears via PowerHD as its a rebranded PowerHD HD-8307TG. The replacements cost 15.99.

I own two of these Turnigy 1256TG servos and use them for 1/10 stock buggy racing. For the price these servos are great. I have not stripped any gears yet. They have a decent amount of speed and torque, more than enough for 1/10 buggy. My only minor complaints are the cable is huge and too long for my application, the futaba servo horns fit too tight, and the case is a touch on the big size. It just fits into my B5M. These are a great value.

I replaced an old skool metal gear "monster truck" servo in my E-Maxx with this. The old servo was slow, but now this servo is blazing fast and has plenty of torque to turn the tires lock to lock even when standing still. Love it!

I have been using 3 of these servos and my dad has also been using 3 of these servos for the past 2 years. So that's 6 total and we have not had one problem with them. We oval track race and we use them in short course trucks and buggies and they work great in both applications. They are extremely fast servos. Only thing is, they draw a lot of power so you will definitely a glitch buster for racing applications but still overall very happy with these servos.

I recently bought one of these and am really pleased with the purchase. I write a blog and have written a review on the servo which can be found here:

These servo's centre well (2 usec dead band) and jitter very little, very powerful and very fast (coreless motor), I have them in four expensive planes one of which is four years old (as are the servo's), servo's are still like new. I've taken these apart and they are very well made, three sealing gaskets between the joins and PC Board is securely mounted, there is absolutely no trace at all of any backlash through the gears. I would highly recommend these servo's and would quite happily put them to a test up against anything from any other manufacturer regardless of cost.

My only question I'd like to know the answer to is, who it is that actually makes them? Just in case I want more of a different specification or if I might want to replace the gear train (as I can't find a replacement set on here).

I've purchased two of these servos a couple years ago and they're still going strong. I have one in my traxxas bandit and the other in my traxxas slash 4x4...and I've gone 105mph with it install in my slash with no problems. Very good servos.

Got 1 of them for the tail rotor of my best friends HK-600 GT. Testet it for 2 hours on my workbench after adding a little more grease to the gears. It is fast and strong as stated, and it follows every step on the transmitters trim. We`ll use it in analog mode of the gyro on 4.8 V Ni-MH, this is more than good for scale flights. The servo shows good quality inside, so it should last for a long time.
