very good motor in thrust and speed , i use with 60 amp esc, 2200 lipo 4s 65c, prop 4.1x4.1 ..pusher configuration, this motor can give best thrust and speed , for my delta wing flying. and amazing speed for its price. but time by time the wire in stator became black..

Decent motor

I put this in HobbyKing's 12 blade 70mm (https://hobbyking.com/en_us/blade-high-performance-70mm-edf-12-blades-ducted-fan-unit.html) and it pulls 50 amps and pushes about 750 grams. I want to try it in a smaller EDF in hope that it would draw less current.

burning down ?
I can't imagine everybody who buy's things from hobbyking , they would immediately test it in front of a camera ! If my ESC would get damaged by this crazy experiment or a lipo would start burning or blowing into my face who would than be responsible ?
hobbyking do you assume that responsibility ? How can you guys ask to do something so dangerous !!! ? Why not test it yourself or your children ???

Got the item broken, some idiot from hobbyking asked me to take photo and video to prove the damage. Please note that connecting a faulty motor to your ESC might damage your more expensive ESC. Now imagine a child following instructions from IDIOTS like that burning up the house just because they need to see live video or photo while the motor is burning down ?

Great motor. Feels good and no issues with bearings. Doesn't come with any accessories. Fitted to a 70mm EDF in my LX F-117.

Running on a 4s 2200 and a YEP60a ESC produces 872w and draws 55a at max throttle.
