Just got another 2 of them for my GWS a-10 using them in 55mm edfs. On a 55mm 6 to 3 Blade converted edf they take around 24 amps. Also tried them on 4s but the rotor disintegrated into 100 pieces (very cheap edfs by the way). Motors are very nice for the price and they DO SHIP with the advertised shafts (3 pcs = 1 mounted 2 addtitional).Use it with GSW EDF 55mm on 3s, it handle 25A without problem. very nice motor.Turnigy 2610 EDF Outrunner 4500kv. This is a very good quality motor. It runs very calm and without vibrations. I installed it in a F5-E Tiger from H.K. This jet runs with a thrust of 640g an the weight/thrust rate is 0,92!!Better quality compare to the P2627 and using it on the 64mm duct fanExcellent motor bought to upgrade the Mini F16 with a Wemotech microfan. Motor mounts perfectly in edf unit.
3 stars as it is advertised as shipping with both 2.3 and 3.0mm shafts. It has arrived with only the 3.0mm shaft and now I have to go searching for a 3.0mm adaptor for the microfan....very, very, very, very, very annoying and inconvenient may i say. If i had known only the 3.0mm shaft would arrive I would have purchased the EDF unit with the 3.0mm adaptor!
Akin to false advertising - if you advertise that the motor comes with both shaft sizes - SHIP IT WITH BOTH SHAFT SIZES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm currantly running this motor in the fly cat model in the supplied 54mm edf. The model preforms well although this set up is a power hungary deal and fly times on a 1500mah battery are limited to around 3 minutes. I'm about to try the zippy 1800mah battery as suggested for the model, hopefully looking at 8 min flights. all in all I'm happy with the motor, the price was great, and delivery time was impessinly short arriving in Australia within a week of ordering.very good product for edf 64mm on my f16 jet. It produced close to 600g of thrust. good work hobbyking. I recomendmon jetiger a ador, un excellent remplaant pour le moteur d'origineused this to beef up my maxjet f-35's stock motor. nice motor well made and a nice jump in power and speed. its a 64mm 6 blade edf no problem for this motor on a 40 amp escUsing this motor in a F4D-1 Skyray from Hobby-Lobby, with a 5-blade 64mm fan. Wonderful. With a fresh 3S 1500mah pack it draws 30.8A at 350W, holding steady at 12V. I didn't test thrust but it's rated at 600g, amounting to a 1:1 thrust-to-weight on the Skyray. It flies beautifully at half-throttle. -
