Bought 4 of these. Also bought a couple of 3S and a couple of 2S.
One of these 6S2P packs puffed and I never even used it or charged it! Knowing returning would be damn near impossible with these guys I opened the pack up and measured voltages per 2P packs and the "Puffed" set (only one of the 2 cells puffed) measured 1.8VDC. The other good sets measured ~3.37VDC.
Yes, I never even charged it or used it. Also one of the 3S2P packs puffed the same way, never used, never charged.
I also opened the 3S pack and measured below 2VDC on one set of 2P. So I de-soldered one set of the good 2P out of the 3S pack, de-soldered the bad set of 2P out of the 6S pack and put the good set of 2P into the 6S set and it all worked. Still working a year later but I have to "Baby" them. I even use a BMS board just in case.

Obviously there's something wrong in the mfgr process or just plain poor quality. When no battery specs like LVC, HVC Cycle life at 80pcnt DOD or cycle life at 100pcnt DOD or Max drain time at Max C discharge are given, then there's something to hide. Hence all these failure reviews.

Asking anyone those above specs from their support results in a big..........no response.

I bought the 6 cell LiFe battery and my ESC Plush 80A recognizes it as a 5 cell. It will not power my Great Planes Reactor very well as a 5 cell, whereas a regular LiPo is recognized by me Plush 80A as 6 cells and has enough power to fly the Reactor. I don't think that I can program the Plush ESC to recognize the LiFe battery as a 6 cell. What Hobby King ESC's can be programmed to register LiFe and regular Lipo's as 6 cells without reprogramming whenever one changes from LiFe to LiPo? I asked Hobby King support, and Cheva said that I should ask this question on a forum. I can not figure out how to post a question on a forum, it asks me to register and when I register it says that I am registered.

I received my Turnigy 4500 mAh 6 cell LiFe battery pack today. I will be using it to power my Sullivan Dynatron starter. I charged up the battery pack and connected to the starter. Wow, this is the power I am looking for, I should be able to start just about anything with this setup. I am now discharging the pack to cycle it a few times, but I have run the starter a fair bit and cranked my DLE 30 cc with it with ease. So far, I am very happy and I really like the extra safety of the LiFe pack as compared to LiPo batteries.

Alright, upon further tests in my hk600 I found out that the battery is dying a slow death. The accucel 6 charger complains of "voltage error" when I recharge the battery, the battery will charge however. Packs started to get swollen on the sides. For $70 this is a rip-off. Please HK remove this item or fix it.

So far no problems with the packs. I have 2 of them in series to give me approximately 39 volts.

I have charged them 6 times each using a life charger. I will contiune to watch these batteries based upon comments.

I use this as start battery, connected to my 24Volt dynatron starter instead of 2 heavy 12 lead batteries. It give more power than needed for starting my 26cc engines.

I believe that once cell is bad, not 100% sure though, but my Turnigy Accucel 6 is complaining of battery voltage error cell connections, so based on what another customer experience it may be the same issue he has. Overall it will work for what I need it. Price is a bit expensive though.
