I use this for my Flight Test foam board airplanes the require the C power pack and it turns my planes into rocket ships! I use a 9x6 prop with a Plush 40 amp esc and a 3S 2200 40 c battery. That is the magical combination and is fantastic!!!

So disappointed: The SK3 3530 out of the box looks like quality construction but I needed to reverse the position of the shaft. Done it before should be no problem right? This motor does not come with an allan wrench like the Eflite motors do, after selecting the proper wrench size and getting a good tight fit, the set screws stripped out because they were too soft, that's it, the motor is now useless 5minutes out of the box, maybe stick with Eflite if you anticipate needing to reverse the shaft position.

"A leap forward in quality" WHAT A JOKE. I bought 4 of the motors, initially one was faulty (Bad bearing). Hobby king replaced it. Now, another has failed. I'm staying away from cheap crap with projects I care about. I would advise you to do the same.

I use this motor for ssc combat. 4 cell 2650 mah 40 c batt. 8x3 ma combat prop. 60 amp plush esc. This combo flys circles around glow powered ssc combat planes. Give it a try you won't regret it.

Few measurements of static thurst:
GWS sw 9x4.7, 441w,1200g; (Best power, 1500 mAh 3s 20 c is on limit!!!)
Graupner e 8x4, 300w, 840g; (Best efficiency)
APC e 8x6, 420w, 780g; (lost efficiency not a good choice)
GWS sw 8x4.7, 420 w, 1010g; (More power if you need, but lost efficiency!)
Excellent for 500-600 g 3d, with avarage half throtle 10-12 min on 1500 mAh (with the help of wind :-)), 3s with graupner prop , or best power with GWS sw 9x4.7 if you have enough accu power with low weight.

I just wrote a review yesterday but I have to write this, with the smallest carbon fiber folding prop that can be purchased here that is the 9,5x5 size this motor draws 32amps static on the ground at 12500rpm, and in the air 28amps 13500rpm 10,2v... What the hell read the description, what is written there is what you get. Amazing motor!

Had my first flight with this motor with a phoenix 2000 glider. The plane comes with a folding 10x6 prop, too much for this but here is some data, will get smaller prop.
tgy super brain 40a data with 2.2 25-50c nano:
no load current 3.3a 20k rpm
10.6v 49a 10800rpm on the ground static
10.5v 43a 11700rpm in the air.(about 100-110km/h)
note that on 80pcnt throttle amp draw is 25-26a at 10600rpm, so with a smaller prop it spins like there is no tomorrow for sure.

Will get smaller prop but its a really great motor, will buy sk3 or ntm in the future.
