Very nicely packaged, comes with a selection of fittings. This motor is well balanced and runs effortlessly. I use this motor on a Hobbyking Bushmaster and it provides excellent flying power. Great value for money.Just purchased this motor. I also purchased, per the description above, 4mm bullet connectors for the ESC wires to motor connection. Only to to find out too late that the motor really comes with 3.5mm connectors installed, NOT 4mm. Waisted money and installation time and effort. (By the way, of all the 35'' SK3 motors advertised in this section, this motor is the only one showing 4mm connectors in the product description. All other show 3.5mm.

With a prop of sizes 12x8, 12x7 The motor drew at WOT ~57AMP so the battery got drained. With 11x7 (TGS prop) it works great.Bloody brilliant motor. I normally use NTM motors but I have seen the light. I have my SK3 in a 1280 Yak 54 with a 4S 3000mAh and a 12x6 MA prop. The SK3 gives the plane heaps of thrust - unlimited vertical and pro hangs no worries. Best of all, the SK3 runs cool and does not heat up the ESC or the battery. It also appears to be very efficient; at the end of a 4min 30 sec flight, the motor only used 1307mAh. This is much greater efficiency than I get from a similar sized NTM motor. I recommend this motor and I will be buying SK3's fromnow on where ever possible.This is a great motor! I bought it because of all the above average reviews on this web site! I put it on a 6 foot Telemaster Electro with 848 sq. inches of wing area. I used a castle creations 75 ice escape and powerwing 30c 4S Lipo 3300mAh battery and a apc 13x8 elec. prop. With this setup I get 15 minute flights. (it is a trainer and flies at half throttle most of the time) With a head start aircraft will pull straight up vertical. Motor and escape are barely warm upon landing. Very impressive motor.fine on 3 m. F5B glider, 2,4kg in 3S: 13x6,5 folding prop @ 40 Ah

Climbing at 45. very good motor, light and powerfull.It's running a 15x8 folder prop with Nanotech 3S 2650mAh on a 2,8 kg' F5J glider (Airon from Valenta). 50Ah on ground, 46 Ah in flight. I'm very happy about this set. The glider climbing about at 45This is a good motor but be careful if using it for 3D with large props. I snapped to stator clean off the back plate on mine when doing a KE spin. My conclusion is that the motor is just not man enough for hardcore 3D use.
For anything other than 3D I'm sure it's a great motor. Quality is top notch and lives up to all that HK claim of it. It will pump out a good bit more than it's official Watt rating without overheating. I ran it with a 15x7 Xoar and it peaked at 929W on a 4s battery, 3.5 KG thrust.
Check the files tab for photos of the busted motorI'm also using it in a 3DHS AJ Slick 51 (just under four pounds), with a 60-amp Plush, an APC 15x4E prop, and 4-cell 2200 35C nanotechs. No it isn't all that fast, but who cares? 3D planes are stunt fliers, not Hotliners.
Vertical climb is excellent, as is the way it pulls out of slow-speed gyrations. The big prop has improved all aspects of the plane's stunt capabilities. The 51 is a better plane with this motor and prop combination.
Flight times are nearly six minutes with no throttle management, and everything comes down very cool. This is a fine motor.Nice workmanship, looks great. Haven't run it yet but I did notice that in the specs they say it has 4mm bullet connectors. Mine came with 3.5mm bullet connectors. FYI
