Listen carefully, I set up this engine on an extra 260 2,40m and 9kgs! I started with one and now a 23x8 25x10! These engines do not heat and do not consume too much and it is not power that impresses but the torque that can cause large propellers. I much prefer the G160 and Rotomax 1.40 and 1.60. I am very happy with this cheap and efficient engine.

This motor comes with a 10mm prop shaft that bolts on the front, and an 8mm to 10mm collet shaft to go on the motor shaft, it tightens on very tightly and can be hard to remove, so no set screws should be needed. This motor has loads of torque. I use it on my mountain board with a 6s 8000mah lipo, and an 11 tooth and 68tooth #25 sprocket set. On a level surface it draws less than 3-5A during low to medium acceleration, and can maintain speed at less than 1-3A. It draws 15-20A with low to medium accel up hill, and can draw over 25A doing a burnout on level ground. My board goes about 9-12mph. It is best to give it a small push with throttle to start it, so it doesn't loose timing. The brake on the YEP 120A ESC is at the lowest setting (acro) which is a little too hard to use much faster than walking speeds, so I jump off then hit the brake. The ESC has been staying cool without the fan on. It is programmed with 4pcnt starting throttle, but I might try 8pcnt. It should go 4.5 miles of mixed throttle with some small hills on one charge.

Put this engine on an old Top Flite Stinson Reliant, 100.5" wingspan, 22lbs flight ready with batteries, running a 20/8 prop, two 6s 5000mah batteries in series. Pulled 45 amps, produced 15lbs of thrust. Flew great!! After a 5 minute test flight battery cells still showed 3.92. Looking forward to testing it with a 24" prop, see if I can increase minutes in the air. Good replacement for 30cc gas

Great motor. I've put 2 of these on my mountainboard with 15:64 reduction (HTD5-15mm belts) and with 20 cm diameter wheels I get 35 Km/h of maximum speed (with an 8s LiPo) and a torque and acceleration that are just insane (can climb a hill on grass with 2 people on the skate without problems. Range is 10 Km with a 5 Ah battery.

I've put 2 of these on my mountainboard with 15:64 reduction (HTD5-15mm belts) and with 20 cm diameter wheels I get 35 Km/h of maximum speed (with an 8s LiPo) and a torque and acceleration that are just insane (can climb a hill on grass with 2 people on the skate without problems. It's basically the slowest outrunner in this size available (even the former 80xx and 120xx motors are too fast for their size), making it compatible with some of the inexpensive electric bike ESCs which perform current control and have other useful EV features. Hall sensor add-on packages are available for this size as well (search your favorite search engine for SK3 Hall Sensor or similar). Typically 1500plusW in a vehicle application on 36v with a capable controller.

Very powerfull, can swing a 27x10" prop and provide a static thrust of over 11kg.

I bought this motor for a scooter and so far it pushes me along fine except the three screws that hold the starter in place come loose easily and so do the screws that hold on the bell.

I bought this motor for an electric scooter and it works great on a 6 cell lipo configuration except it gets a bit warm when pushing me (120 lbs) up hills with a 13 tooth pinion sprocket and 60 tooth spur sprocket on a 12 1/2 inch wheel. The three screws that hold the starter to the end also came loose after a few hours of use, so put locktight on all of the screws before you use this motor for any length of time.
