Very nice looking esc, but thats about it. Mine lasted 3 uses, about 20 mins all up before it died. The setup was on 5s pulling about 70 amps max, well below the 160 amp cont rating. I decided to repair it myself rather than mucking around sending it back, but after seeing the quality of the insides I wont bother. An extra zener diode had been added on the input and very poorly done resulting in a short, damaging the two filtering caps. There are also numerous other suspect joints as well. Wouldn't waste your money

It's works fine. BUT, there are two problems. The first one is funny. As you can see, there is a mount rail on the side of the housing. Maybe they planned to mount the switch on it. But if you decide to do this, you realise the switch will be in the way of the cooling pipe. :D The second one, is the material of the cooling pipe connectors is iron, so it's get rusted in a year, and the rust close the hole, so the water cant flow troug, your ESC can get overheat.

I bought 2. I sail in salt water and both have failed due to water ingress. There is virtually no attempt to make the ESC waterproof and even my attempts failed. When the are going they are great but I am not convinced they are a true marine product like the HK big black 120A esc which in my experience is submersible.
If you csn keep it dry then go for it. If not look elsewhere.

I bought this again as I liked how it performed on my other boat and since the other ESC I got from HK all died withing 3-4 runs, I wanted to be sure and sure enough it didn't disappoint me.
