I have this in my Evader ext once i got over the 5mm shaft issue(48p pinions hard to find) turned it into a rocket. running 88t spur and 26t pinion it flys(70-85km/h) on 2s,debating 3s. motor and speed control barely warm (30-45C) after 20min run. All in all a good buy looking to get more of these TURNIGY motors for all my boats and other cars.

Turnigy b36 40 05 3900I bought this motor a month ago and made watercooling for it. Yesterday i heard a grinding noise like bearings are gone. Now it hasn't been on or in the water. Can the bearings be replaced on this motor. Also received another motor on 5/18/2010 and quiet like a church mouse. Same exact motor of the other. Thanks for your time and patience.

Fitted to Stryker using a 3S 2200. Pulled 40amps with a 5x3 APC prop. Collective agreement from myself and several onlookers....Excessive Torque roll caused the massive Foam Explosion in a one point landing on Maiden flight. :(

(Yes it's possible it was other causes but the most likely.)

i am using this motor on skyartech jet with a turnegy 3000mha 4s 40-50c pack and an 80A good brand speed controller with outburst of 100A, 6x5 apc prop on the first run it clocked 186mph on the second run it clocked 198mph, i am only new to these speeds and am sure that with some prop testing and more experienc it will go well over 200,nothing over heated great motor good price more testing on an ampometor coming soon run time unfortunatly 6 min
