These retracts have very poor quality metal mounting tabs. They bend if the landing is not perfect and, eventually, break. The plane on which I used them weighed 6 pounds. Also, the leg springs are WAY too stiff and should be replaced with a much less stiff spring no matter the weight of the plane. These might hold together if your plane is 4 pound or less. The mechanism works fine but the metal will fatigue and bend, sadly.

Bought these in the sale and have fitted them into a 1470mm P-51 Balsa and they are great. Very nice retract with a scale speed too. The Oleo are very solid as well. Recommenced and I will buy more of them.

These things are made nice , shocker is quite firm and so is the tyre , tyre size is 6 cm by 2.2cm , hope that helps !!
