G10 & G15 motors

Sep 06, 2017

These are great motors but if you need to reverse the shaft for rear mounting the grub screw in the motor itself must be welded in as i have had to drill it out on this g10 & g15 motors why can they not be just nipped up as we all check them anyway, good motor replacement for pz spit & p47

I like them they give good power and don't seem to get to hot on my mutiplex acromaster. I have killed one of them by letting the front collar come loose that holds the bearing in place but that was entirely my fault. I pessed the shaft threw to make it work with the acromaster motor mount and didnt tighten the collar sufficiently

Bought it to replace the stock motor of my Parkzone Corsair, and it was the best thing I ever did. Make sure you reinforce the wing spars and also strengthen the elevators before attempting stunts with the new setup. My plane now goes full vertical. Using TGS Sport 10x7E props.

I put this in one of my two Fun Cubs and seems to run ok I have around 20 fights now and the motor has been getting noisy.. Seems the bearings are not so good.. In my other Fun Cub I have a power 10 by Eflite and I have about 60 flights and sounds like the day I bought it..

Quick run indicated a nice motor with plenty of power. I mounted it on a board in my bench vise and ran it off a full 2200 3s battery to check amps and battery life. Ran sweet for a couple of minutes pulling 28 amps with a 12x6 folding prop but started making a loud squealing sound so I dropped the throttle to 20 amps and it ran quieter for the next 5 minutes till the battery ran out. I suspect the bearings have run dry, maybe were not properly greased when assembled. I'll try stripping and lubing the bearings when I get time but I didn't expect that this would be needed after the first 5 minutes of running. Battery life was shorter than expected but the noisy bearings may have contributed to the reduced run time.

I also dropped this in my old parkzone T-28. The stock motor was weak and it made the plane boring to fly so I decide to drop in this power10 clone. Man the plane has gobs of power now and actually isn't boring to fly. Had to drop a bigger esc in it but well worth it. Got about 20 flights so far so good.

ste motor puede funcionar para suplir el del trojan de parkzone (Incluso con las palas de fbrica), el nico detalle es que es un poco mas largo que el de fbrica, entonces hay que fijar el cowl mas afuera. (Con Esc de 40 AMP)

I dropped this in my parkzone t-28 Trojan paired with a 40amp blue series esc and the Trojan is a totally new plane. Unlimited vertical, stable slow speed passes and truly made my Trojan a much more fun plane. Guessing it doubled the speed also. Highly recommend it. I think it is amazing. Cut my flight time down to 4-5 minutes on the 2200 mah 3s batteries but totally worth it.

I just put my new G10 in my pz extra 300 with plush 40A esc . On the first test quickly found out I had bad bearing .took it apart and noticed the bearings are the same as the main shaft bearing on my trex450 so changed that and tried again , this time it sounded real nice. On 3s 2200mAh 35c and same prop 10.5x9 batt at 12.35v i got 37.8A and 396w WOT for 1 min and was just warm. Now it sounds good and quite powerful. I would recommend but make sure to check the bearings and lube them.

I installed this motor in my PZ T-28. Great upgrade from stock. I get 7 to 8 minute flight times and the performance is great-she flies with authority even in fairly windy condtions. I am running a 11X6 prop.
