Los motores de serie Competencia Turnigy GliderDrive son outrunners de alta calidad diseñados específicamente para su uso en modelos de planeadores de alto rendimiento de hoy en día. Estos motores son efectivamente un "outrunner en una lata", que significa que el exterior del motor no gira. Esto le da las ventajas de montaje de un Inrunner al no tener que preocuparse de holgura para el exterior del motor puede girar. También cuentan con un extremo frontal cónico que les permite encajar en la nariz delgada de la mayoría de los planeadores / Hotliners con facilidad.

Very powerful motor. I use it in a 2 meter hotliner and it goes straight upward. Just a few seconds until the plane is out of sight, so be careful!
Setup is 12x8 folding prop, 80A ESC, 4S 3200mAh 30C battery.
Weight of plane including all components 1560g.
Climbing rate is about 30m/sec.

But you can’t compare it to a competition setup with a >1000 watts inrunner gearbox. This motor can’t compete with such a thing but keep in mind that it costs just a fraction of a pro-setup.

If you’re looking for a cheap and powerful motor for flying small fast gliders for fun, this is your weapon of choice!

I have this motor in a 4M ALES glider 1940g with a 12X6 prop. Pulls 30A at 10.8V (3 cell) gives 7800rpm. I have it in a CLM Pro fuse that fits perfectly. Last year I ran it with a 3 Cell 1300mAh battery and was able to get to 150M easily in 30 sec. This year I will use a 4 cell and have practiced getting to 200M in 25 seconds repeatedly. It pushes the limits a bit at 41A and 14.8V with the 12X6 prop, but it's a 25 sec run. I might try it with an 11X8 prop, I hear that works pretty well.

These are very good and way cheaper than their MVVS equivalent. Best choice for an ALES or F5J glider up to 2.3 KG. This more brings my 2.2 KG Xplorer to 200 meters in 23 seconds and my 1.8 KG Gracia to 200 meters in 19 seconds.

Great little motor. installed in a BOT with a Graupner 13x7 folding prop powered by a 50A Aeolian ESC and 4S 3000mah battery (42A and 755W). on the plus side, easy to mount, don't have to worry about wires rubbing on the bell, good power. on the minus side, shaft a little too long (collets won't fit all the way), shaft is soft, and replacement shafts don't seem to be available.
