To give you an idea, it will shrink down to fit really snug on AA batteries. On AAA batteries, you'll be able to pull it off, but it will hold them. It doesn't start to wrap around the ends though.
When full shrunk, it does produce a fairly hard plastic shell that is 1.1 mm thick. So if your battery compartment/area is pressed for room, you might to make sure you have the room.

Soo what can we say about a Shrinktube... Yess it shrinks very good! ;) With 2:1 Ratio it works good for Batteries and it doesnt need too much heat. So this is a good fact for making Lipo Packs. I can recommend this for making small LipoPacks

Shrink tubes/wraps offer variable purposes not just to wrap your batteries or packs, you may also use them to hold folded wires to have a neat look and at the same time prevent stripped wires. You may also use them to wrap 2 packs to run in parallel or series, wrap a receiver for additional water resistant properties and so much more!

There is a lot of tube ! good quality, shrinks about 20 percent.
