Installed motor in 2.2m/850gm glider, replacing a DC motor. With 9x5 folding prop it drew 80 watts, on a 10x6 draws 116 watts and runs cool, not going to push up prop size as motor installation hard to access and monitor temperature. Gets over 6 min run time (full throttle) in 40 second bursts from a 2200 mah 3s Lipo. Happy with this performance, motor runs smooth and trouble free.

I use it on my dual copter with 1045 prop, it was getting hot and not giving enough lift, then I switch to 0947 props, runs smooth with less heat

I just received my Turnigy L2215J-900 motor....I mounted it on a scratch built 3D foamy. The motor has plenty of power. However, I had to replace the prop adapter that came with it as the adapter shaft was badly machined...it wobbled so badly that the motor nearly shook itself off the mount the first time I test-ran it with the prop....since replacing the prop adapter, the motor is quite smooth and powerful.
