Love this motor in the Changesun 90mm 12 blade EDF. Gives 3000watts of power on 8S with a great sound as mounted in a Freewing F-15. So good I bought 3 more for future use.

I ended up installing this motor with a 90mm changesung 12 blade fan and installed it in to my fly fly T45.I must say the motor runs smooth with out any issues and has plenty of thrust.I am very pleased with its performance.here is a video.

I used this motor in the "High Performance 90mm 12 blade fan" (Change Sun), powered by 8S 5000mAh Turnigy 40C Lipos. Starting power is 3000W, settling to ~2700W mid flight. Note that I limit the throttle output initially as 1500Kv is a bit high on 8S, so this avoids blowing the 120A ESC. After the Lipos have lost some of their initial charge I flick a switch on the Tx to enable full power. The motor is smooth and tough. It replaced a different motor that was recommended for that fan, but it blew on climb-out. No problems with this motor!

Top quality motor for EDF. Fits Changesun 90mm 12 blade (with 8mm adapter).

Perfect for 7S and 8S.

8S peak 3100watts/107amps settles to 2950watts/104amps
7S settles to 2400watts/94amps

The CS fan must be of the stronger version or the risk of fan failure is high. The fan must be secured to the adapter with a sandpaper washer in between to prevent slippage at high power (which will throw off any dynamic balancing you may have performed. Do not run fan at high power unless it has bee properly dynamically balanced or fan failure is likely. If you don't know how, get some help from and experienced EDF builder.

Was put to a 12blade changesun EDF. Smooth, vibration free operation and 7.7Lbs static thrust at 2800W. Temp went to 42Cel at full throttle after 5X 4sec bursts. Not bad at all... Sorry Atom smasher but either you did not test this yourself or something else is going on??? You tell us...! but this is 3Kw motor and not 1500W. Of course this at 8s but even at 7s I would expect 2400W. Please re-do test and post correct results. By the way,I am a tough customer on giving high ratings but this a great motor.
