Trackstart 10,5T great for short course chassis

Bought this for my HK Desert Fox, had been running a 7,5t previous but on 3s things where getting too hot fast. Ended up killing the 7,5t, it got so hot the soldering on the stator melted and shorted ... oh well. This 10,5t is just right for a 1:10 short course based platform although a bit lacking in top end on 2s so i'll run it on 3s for bashing.
Sad hough HK doesn't sell parts for these motors as Reedy does so i could have rebuild my 7,5t motor but then they are cheap enough to get a new one, and well worth the money.
So keep them temps in check with these and you'll be fine

Using this in the 1/10 BSR BT-4 touring, coupled with a 120A X-Car ESC (which is overkill). Great motor, nice and smooth and doesn't get warm. Definitely fast enough for me and the track nearby. The best thing about these motors is that at ~$45, it's a relatively cheap upgrade when I want more power.

Ho alcuni di questi motori : 10,5T / 7,5T / 6,5T e sono ottimi motori.
Molto potenti e regolari,le temperature di esercizio sono basse.Ho raggiunto a stento 60C sotto stress,sulla buggy a gas aperto,per una scarica senza usare ventole sul motore.Secondo me sono motori validi e per quello che costano valgono molto di piu di 30 euro.

As to my knowledge Trackstar Motors are rebranded Reedys.

Works just as fine. A Pro told me these motors lack a bit of "push".

But the bang for the buck is perfect!

I have these motors in my 1/12 on 1s lipo great performance. And on 2s in a 1/10 world gt pancar and in my touringcar 1/10 and again great performance. And they run very cool with awesome power. A lot of motor for the money.

very nice brushless motor run very well and good torque low end. have set at 0 timing for now and normal setting on esc until I break in the bearing. very smooth at low end. this motor pair with hobbyking sensorless/ sensor 60A esc. got one run in because it 50 deg out and the motor got up to 76deg f after 10 minute running.
