So I really really want to love this, that being said.. the ESC is incredibly difficult to configure to your remote. Had to use flysky 3 channel reciever and use input 2(input 1 is for the steering servo) to get it to finally read, then for my remote nothing worked like everyone said it should, only a solid orange light, pressing the little set button did nothing.. but I finally figured out you just have to press the trigger and it flashed indicating it set reverse, the neutral, and forward. It worked. Then got all that working, the motor and esc all setup out of the vehicle, tested it, seemed good. Put it all into my deerc 9200 platform, a 1/12 scale really, and its cogging really bad at start. Double checked i had no weird sudden binds in the drive train. Took it all out, tested it out again and checked for binding in the drive train. Put it all back, and still cogging real bad at start. Once it gets going a little this thing FLIES! Very awesome speed demon 4x4, honestly almost to fast. I am going to try and reset my remote to the esc and see if that gives me any solutions..

I run this on my Tamiya Blitzer beetle. I've never programmed it and its set up nice from the box. I use a 2s lipo battery and it really flies. Maybe too fast for the chassis but so much fun.

Had to file down plug to fit programming box which is needed to get the motor to run nice. you need battery plugs which are not supplied.

It's almost impossible to calibrate the esc. We are 4 people who bought this and all of us have problems with esc.

Complete trash was sent 2 systems and neither esc worked.... Now I'm stuck paying to ship this crap and back and wasted time just to get store credit to buy some more junk. Make it make sense

Excellent Bang For the Buck

Great combo! Replaced the stock brushed system in my Arrma Senton with this. Very simple install, pretty much plug and play. Only issue I have, and the reason for only 4 crowns on quality is: 1) zero documentation comes with this. I had to spend time on you tube and google to figure out that 2) without the programming card (which ALSO does not have instructions) you’re pretty limited on the stock performance as programmed.
I tweaked the programming with the programming card and this combo just took right off. I would like to see a description of each parameter in the programming as mine didn’t have the same options as any I watched on you tube.

Put this getup in my son's 1/10 AMP DB 2WD Desert Buggy Brushed RTR, Black/Yellow (ECX03029T1). The thing tears it up now, but am a little worried about the driveshaft universal joints. They have a history of failing in this car and I may have just decreased the projected lifespan.

Loads of power, Well worth getting

Got this combo in my Tamiya M07 as we race all year round out side,turned the speedo down by 40% otherwise it burns the tyres up. Been running it for 10 months or more and cant fault it great value for money. I have the other combos running in my 4wd Vandal Buggy 2cell (5200 combo) and Trooper Short Course truck 3cell (3250) and all are great fun waterproof fast and reliable.
