A must have device for all the nitro powered things around. If your servo runs out of power it will center so the motor will receive half throttle. Not a good thing! This will protect from this situation. Should be used in combination with a proper failsafe setting on the receiver. This only works when the power of the receiver runs out. Not for out of range.
