Balances well im using a 1300mah Zippy compact there was no need to trim it either flew very nice n stable. Can perform barrel rools with ease fast ones too and very tight loops at low altitude. The v-tail servos aren't much good the ailerons are much better lots of throw on them. I ran some tape at sides of wings to stop any movement and had to re glue all the magnets. excellent finish on the epo. I might have to reinforce the wings but that's just cuz I have a bigger motor and prop(AXN Clouds motor). I have a 6x5 prop I cut out a v shaped wedge to allow the prop to spin without cutting the fuse in half hehe. I will swap out servos sometime soon. Total flying weight is 380 grams. BTW theres a 16 gram weight hidden in the joining of the nose cone I removed mine so glad I did cus it balances just perfect in fact is the only plane that I haven't had to add additional weight. Also stock motor is very odd looking it weights 50grams my axn motor is around 44 grams.

Not impressed by the quality but flies great. Mine came with loose motor, bad servo, etc. 3S 850mAh - aprox 15 minutes but be careful it stalls pretty violent if flown with a heavy battery.Glides very well on 2S or smaller 3s - Like 0.5A. Likes to be nose heavy. Stock prop is a joke - Changed the prop to APC 5X4.5 - what a difference! It zooms around the park at 70 mph.

This is very fun mid-sized plane. It likes to fly with more speed than you would think being that it is a "Glider." I first flew it with the recommended 2s 850mah and it flew good. I later bought a 3s 850mah battery and it brought this plane to life! So far I have not had any issue with the stock electronics while using the 3s battery. The landings are a little difficult due to the fact that the area I fly is fairly tight with trees around down low so the landing are pretty hot. This is my first V-tail and flying it with the rudder control is a bit strange as it kicks the plane in a weird fashion. I mostly fly it with ailerons and elevator controls. Keep the speeds up and you will have a blast with this plane! I would buy this plane again!

This is a fantastic plane. Fly's beautifully, no nasty tip stall issues. Can fly quite slow, easliy copes with being banked right over.
Not much room in the cockpit. The esc gets quite hot so I will need to sort out some airflow to cool it. Very easy to build. I simply taped the wing on . The stock prop is rubbish, replace it with another Hobbyking prop.
Its now my favourite plane, its not fast but is fun to fly & VERY responsive.

Just an addition to my previous review. This plane seems to have a strange flying characteristic.During a shallow left turn under low throttle the aircraft goes into a violent spin which I couldn't control. I first thought it was one of the tail servos had failed because its plug was out of the receiver.I repaired the plane and taped the plugs into the receiver. However this uncontrollable spin has happened twice more and the last time the bits ended up in the bin.
Other than that the aircraft flew quite well.

My second attempt at flying this model was more successful .On two cells the performance is not overwhelming but adequate.
Only mods I have done so far is adding some carbon fibre rods in the rear stabiliser and fuselage .This area is very weak and needs beefing up.

The quality of the kit is quite good.Everything went together ok with the fit of the fit and tail feathers. The only comment on that would be check the balance of your prop.Mine was badly out of balance and required major surgery to fix it almost to the point of chucking it and buying a new one.
I don't know how you could fit a 3 cell in the area provided as I had a hard time fitting a 2 cell in there.
My first hand launch wasn't so good as the trim seems to be out. Its been repaired and will get somebody to hand launch it for me till I get it trimmed out. Will report further.

i got this in the post 2 days after ordering it . it took an hour or so to put it together as im new to rc flying however when i powered it up my specktrum ar6210 kept dropping out after eventally i worked out that the problem was with the esc . thankfully i had a smaller 30amp esc at home so i have used this. this is a nice glider /slope soaring plane on 2s 800 my flight time has been well over 20 mins with 20c batterys. however if u replace the stock esc (i had no choice) the stock motor can hadle 3s batterys and on 3s this thing is like a rocket it is soo fast down wind i have clocked it doing 67mph.witch is very fast. this would be a great second plane or anyone or a great fast glider for the expericed pilots

plane arrived well packed and undamaged. plane went together ok. only modification was to glue and screw control horns. noticed motor was not parallel to fuselage.
1st flight, quick roll to left. crash. y lead came undone. fixed with heatshrink around connectors. broken fuselage near prop.
2nd flight, quick role to left, broken fuselage near tail.
fixed plane again and straightened moter.
3rd flight, increased expo to 40pcnt on ailerons and elevator. damn thing flew! suspect misaligned motor was the major cause of first and second crashes.
flies at good speed, both high and low. small size makes it difficult to fly in any wind. not really a trainer but i am using it for that purpose. perhaps a floater would have been a better choice?!
