I wasn't sure which size to buy when I ordered this so I got a few. This (6mm) seem appropriate for smaller groups of wires for servos or receivers. Or for single bigger gauge wires 12-10. It gets bigger when you compress it (push the ends toward each other) about 12-15mm so you can fit connectors through easily.

I use this 6mm size wire mesh on all my helicopters and airplanes. Not only does it look neat but it protects the satellites, servo wires and esc wires from chaffing! Highly recommend! Its a small investment to protect your favorite birds!

Great stuff this makes you servo wires look like it was factory fitted in the airplane this is he size to use for extensions all you have to do is remove the connector and push the wires through and replace connector and remember to put heat shrink on either side to as the mesh will tend to unravel if you do not fit heat shrink
