Hi guys here is an update on this motor. I still think this is a good motor as stated in my previous review. However do not use this motor on 6s (on my boat) it can not handle the revs. At high revs 44000 (36000loaded) the magnets on the armature delaminate, its happened twice on mine. 4s-5s is OK not more. It is a fantastic motor for the price. Hope this helps somewhat.

This motor is great!!!!!!!! Using it in my hydro and it wants to fly (730mm long and 2.6kg) Using in combination with tgy 180A marine esc. on 6s.Octura x450 prop and 6mm connectors on motor and esc end. BE CAREFULL this is a hot setup you need good cooling, I use 2 separate 5mm inlets on transom, the one on the rudder is too small. Happy boating.

This motor kicks arse! I am running mine in a custom made sports cruiser, 1065mm long, with 52mm alloy 2 blade prop and 2 x Zippy 4S 5000mah packs in parallel with the Turnigy 180A speedy and got about ten minutes use running at various speeds to about 80pcnt max throttle. Heaps of grunt, wants to launch out of water, now need to fit trim tabs to keep nose down! Also need more batteries for longer running time. Fantstic motor but boy it really sucks the juice!!!

These things have the best "price/the BOMB-ratio" out there. Waiting on Turnigys versions of 4092's :)

I have this motor in a genesis. The leopard cooling jackets fit perfectly. I'm using a turnigy 180a esc and a 42mm prop. It's quick but will take plenty more prop as temps are very cool. Awesome motor.

Impressive! Installed in a Miss Geico with a Prather X442 prop, 2 Turnigy 6000mah 25C batteries in series, GPS speed 47mph. After wide open runs of 10 to 12 minutes, the motor, and Turnigy 180amp ESC are barely warm to the touch. I bought 2, I will buy 2 more. I know the motor will spin a larger prop. easy. Xlnt motor.
