Pretty much what I expected.

I don't know what those guys are doing wrong but I didn't have any problems. There is some very noticeable flex as they stated but my craft was balanced. I took the time to measure how the landing gear would be attached. If you don't start off with a good CG empty frame you're going to compound the problem when you start adding components. I had severe wobble before I pulled out the tape measure. Be careful on prop choice also. I had to experiment before settling on a motor/prop combination that worked...2810/720kv & 12 x 5.5 worked for me. Serious power!!!...Screw alignment and quality was subpar but nothing a drill and tap & die set can't fix. Let's be honest here,,,If you're going to be a builder you need to be able to work around some issues on your own. Ran this with a clone APM 2.8/Taranis X8R and it performed beautifully.

First off, as quadcopter frames go and as the title suggests, this frame is enormous. For that reason, I have given this frame a slightly better score than I should have since it does come with a few errors. The brass sleeves for the screws are slightly covered by plastic and you have to spend a bit of time removing it. The motor mounting holes are irregular and you may need a few extra screws and some adapters to attach your motors. This aside however, I was surprised that my 2kg quad didn't buckle at the arm joints and fall to the ground in spectacular fashion. In fact, it flew almost perfectly first flight with an ardupilot controller. This frame is perfect if you're aiming to build for cinematography, photography (since the included crab legs are a plus) and if you just want to fly a huge quad. Good luck!

Just as others have stated the arms are to flexible. I was having problems with stability and the quad wanting to twist to the right no matter what I did. I ordered the Upswept Upgrade Arms for DJI Flamewheel Style Multirotors V500 / H550 (Blue) (2pcs), installed them and all my problems disapeared so if you want wide center frame plates you can buy this but count on doing something to apgrade the weak flexible arms

There's been a lot of complaints about the flexible arms, and I have a solution. Lightly sand the outer sides so epoxy will adhere, then epoxy carbon fiber strips on both sides of the arms. This will stiffen the arms enough to allow for stable flight. Steve

The arms flex way too much. Lots of vibration. The center section is fine, lots of room, good construction. Stiffen up the arms and it will be fine.

Does not fly well at all. Excessive arm flex creates huge instability problems. Unsuitable for fun flying to say nothing of using it for a video platform. FORGET this platform and look for something else.

OK I wanted to go bigger than my F450 Quad so I decided to give this a try even though a few people have said there was too much arm flex. Anyway after putting it all together the first flight was smooth but Quad rotated right and needed left rudder to correct. I went through the quad again after posting for help in a few places and 1 arm may have been twisted enough to cause the problem because after slightly bending it after heating it and letting it cool down may have fixed it ( also went through my KK2.1.5 again and verified everything again it fly perfectly. Yes the arms have flex but I can deal with it. The landing gear could be better & I may swap it out or add to it to strengthen them maybe even add a battery holder to each side some how. I am using some cheap 800kv motors with 12.4.5 props to start with as I'm a novice then go to carbon fiber ones eventually. I am also running a EMAX 25amp 4in1 ESC in the quad as well as my F450 without issue. I have set this up for FPV and have Built my own Ground station and will post some videos of it soon.

This frame is not rigid and it vibrate with low KV motor and big propeller. In my case I have try it with 12 prop. Too much vibrations! The arms distords.

For me, It wont fly properly, the arm flex to much creating an unstable craft, it look like the KK2 is always figthing no mater what setting, same goes for the Naze32. I have swap everything to confirm my stating, motor, ESC and board. I have tried everything else. the only way to resolve that where to install smaller and stronger (450) arm. My 3 stars goes to the frame.
