Very Happy with 2P verson

I am using this battery for Amateur Radio field operations as the main power source for my HF Radio. I purchased a 1P and 2P 4200 initially and the 1P failed but the 2P keeps on going and about 18months old now and around 50 recharges. So I have now got another two 2P and hope that they keep going as well as the first. See my QRZ page VK4XAC.

I bought this as a test to start the engine of my heavily modified Triumph Daytona 955 cc motorbike (absolutely no room for a standard battery). To my amazement it worked flawlessly, although I just wired the battery pack to my regulator/recitifier. After one year the battery developped slight ballooning, which resulted in a generally chargeable battery, that is empty upon second starting attempt. So the battery is shot after one year, but considering the price this is ok for me - I just ordered a second one.

Third faulty cell.

I have had a third one of these batteries fail to charge to full capacity. This is despite treating them very carefully and charging correctly using a Turnigy charger. Basically, two of the cells in this battery are at much lower voltage than the other two. No amount of trying to balance the cells using the Turnigy charger option has been successful. The differences in voltages is too great for the charger program to work. I have even tried several charge/discharge cycles. Nothing works. I have obviously wasted more money, but I will never buy these again.

Using them in my motorcycle for the racetrack. After one season the pack is worn out, but what aren't you doing for saveing some kg's? ;)

Dissapointed.
I received mine with one cell having only 1.2V charge, the rest 3.2v.
After giving it a charge it recovered some what. But still only around 3V. ever since I have been running on 3 cells only.

Unfortunately for in my motorbike I need a LIFE battery LIPO are just too dangerous with over charge, SO I will try buying another of these.

I bought 3 packs.After two times of use with low voltage cutoff on my esc at 3v per shell,the two of them are fairly balanced until now (3,6v,3,59v,3,59v,3,59v) after 2,5 hours of balance on my charger and the third fail by far to be balanced(3,56v,3,38v,3,6v,3,59v).I balance them at 1C.

I bought this battery for my traxxas slash to upgrade from my 7 cell nimh batteries & WOW...WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!! (keep in mind that the stock esc cannot handle this many volts) this battery has great power & runtime for a great price! I was afraid of lipos because of the fire hazzard so I went with these life batteries & I'm very pleased! you'll need a lifep04 compatable charger, I use the thunder AC6 & it works great!
