A good choice to replace the original WLToys v977 main motor, just change connector and that's all. You must use the original pinion as well. Is quite powerful.

I mounted this one to the carbon/alloy frame by microheli for the Blade mCPX, which is a perfect fit! Since the stock mCPX pinion doesn't fit (1mm shaft), I had to get a replacement to fit the 1.5mm shaft. After trying the HK 9T pinion, which's bore is too big, I ordered an 8T special design. I must confess, that I haven't test-flown it yet, but test-runs look very promising! The controller is the dual brushless controller by HK (search for Dual Brushless ESC for micro heli). I had to flash the controller with the latest version of BLHeliSetup and configure it for a much softer start, because with the stock firmware of the controller, the throttle cut off on runup unless the battery was fresh from the charger. I'm using 300mAh 35C nano-tech and 300mAh microheli batteries.

I have try this motor into a FLB100 with standard main gear and a 9T pinion... it run too fast.. and with the 300ma nanotec lipo after 2 min flight it go undervoltage... I'll try to mount the 600ma and make a new review...

More power than the C05M Micro brushless outrunner 11000kv.
God quality. High headspeed with 9T at MCPX. Flight Time in Stunt Mode (~100pcnt)3:30. In Normal Mode (max. 80pcnt) 4:30 with 300mAh (45-90C).
MCPX with 600mAh works nice but weight is a little to high for fast movement.

Just got a few flights on my mCPX with this motor, the Dual BL converter board/ESC and the 14000Kv tail motor. After all is said and done it works really well. The tail holds great without any loss of heading. The main motor is more powerful too(9t pinion). The best thing is that I was able to prevent any weight gain by substituting smaller gauge wires and direct solder connections everywhere. It is a different heli now...exactly what I was hoping for.

Pluses: Excellent tail control, more power, same weight as stock

Minuses: A lot of modification was required to get the motor mounted to the frame and my year old batteries didn't provide enough juice. An 8t pinion might help solve both of these problems.

I have this motor with the 1.5mm 9tooth pinion, 10 a esc, 600mah nanotecs. I tried using 300mah nanotecs and the stock mcpx plug at first. The helicopter would cut off in flight from voltage sag. After soldering motor wires direct to the esc and a jst plug this thing really came alive!!! I have a 130x and my little mcpx has way more power than the 130. You can't beat the 6 min hard 3d flight times! :D A

Very nice and strong motor. Perfect for mCPx. Similar power to HP05s. The only thing I do not like: the way the wires come out of the motor. The position is exactly 90 to heli length axis. You cannot change this because of the motor mount (if you use the mCP x stock mount). So there is danger of motor wires touching the servo gears. Better would be 45 or even 0 to length axis of heli. Perfect price.
