got it on cyber sales for 10.41 usd, what a bargain!!!
but this item looks like it had been stored for a decade or much longer,
the box looks kind cover in dust and pretty dirty,
hobbyking should clean it a bit before shipping out,
tested it with only power it on and it works,
just bought it for "I might need it in the future..."
10 bucks!!! for a power tool, seriously? WOW....
totally 5 stars to me!!!

Perfect hobby tool but..

Received mine today.. It's a complete tool for the hobbyist... I just wish it came with proper manuals.
I'm having trouble with the spring inside one of the screws that are on the top and the bottom of the tool.. I accidently took it off and its causing it to vibrate aggressively.. Help.. Please..?

What's a Dremel?

This is not one of those ... But that's ok because I have one of those too. This is a little bigger and easier to hold, plenty of air flow out the front end to keep things cool and blow away whatever you are grinding. It is NOT a 6 speed it's VARIABLE yeah even better and a nice range at that. Comes with a bunch of pink stone grinding bits, a dressing stone (that rectangular one) for cleaning and reshaping the stone bits as they wear, a small and smaller drill the size of the two collars that hold the bits, sanding drum rubber wheel for the sanding cylinders, couple of diamond bits and one I like ... starts at shaft size and tapers to a fine point! A little wrench to tighten the collar, felt polishing disks, sanding disks and cutoff disks. And in addition a goose neck LED light which slides into a dovetail at the rear on top and reaches to the front, has the very small button cells inside so expect them to run down in a few hours of use. A great ... stocking stuffer ...oh I said it and not even Thanksgiving for more than a week yet. In addition, from a few other reviews, I didn't find it that loud, more of a deeper whir than the dentist drill sound of a Dremel tool. On sale so get one while they last!

I recieved this today and i must say the quality of this 24 dollar dremel feels quite nice. The chuck and bits are balanced as well, though, at first, i did encounter an unbalanced drill but. I believe this may have been caused by me inserting the bit past the flat circumference to the actual grooved sides of the bit are. I haven't put this thing through strenous exercise so i can't say if it can take the heat. I'll definitely let you guys know if it breaks all-of-a-sudden.
