Heavy, Heavy stand off mount

If you need to add a bunch of weight to a tailheavy plane, then these could be usable, but the ones I purchased albeit much more expensive from Horizon are much more usable without the weight penalty. I bought these to increase the standoff distance for a TP21cc twin engine to meet the 145 mm mounting distance for my SBACH 342 120 ARF. I opted to use the Horison lighter 50 mm standoffs to keep the weight down. also they came with mountin bolts and wahsers which the HK mounts were naked requiring you to make the trip to the shop to purchse your screws and washers. Due to the low price I will toss them in the spare parts bin for "possible use, someday". They look to be more servicable for much larger gas engines and electric motors.

Great Standoffs - Save money

These are very sturdy standoffs that can save you alot of money over engine manufacturer replacements. There very sturdy. I cut them off at the big middle bolt to make them 1 1/2" in length which is what I needed for a DA60 mounted on a Top Flight Giant P47. The alternative was $50 for a box mount setup that was only 1" long and too short.

Very robust and rliable stand offs for gas engines. Recommended for 50-80 cc engines. Very good shiny red colour looks good.
