the camera had the power cable on the signal pinout, almost burn until I realized and fix it. (WARNING WITH THIS).
The Tx had the screen bad soldered and dont show the channel (I dont care that). is very hot when work, I recomend to remove the case and put a true heatsink.
..Is a very convenient set, cheap, yet powerful, and the camera is very clear and work great in poor light. just have to check the pinout and attach heatsink in tx.Hi Hobbyking.
I purchased this product. Instead of getting 8 Ch TX I got a 4Ch version. Let's say that maybe I can live with this although I paid for something else...but to also get a faulty wiring is too much (as you can probably see in the attached picture. Let me explain...perhaps is not obvious: the wiring that you guys did connects VCC to camera video signal and vice versa. Maybe it should be better to sell the kit with no soldered wires and provide e small schematics instead of this. In my opinion this is a shame...to sell this and advertise that:
"Unlike other generic systems, we have produced a wiring loom and included it with the camera so that the Tx and camera will be compatible and on the same voltage.
If you buy your camera and Tx separately the plug polarity and voltages may be very different."

Got this kit and didn't use it for 2 months. Rigged a test bench and no luck. No pictures and no indication of whats wrong. Chat help was really good to lend a hand but to no avail. Why is there a picture of the back of the camera in the files links? ARE, the wiring harness plug is back to front. to Vid and vice versa.
This would have been a great addition to this kit if it was done right but it turned out making things dam confusing. Check the camera connector before you send it back.It works but is quite heavy, can interference with your GPS and has only 4 channels (the tx).
You can open up the tx and remove the outer box since the actual tx is inside another smaller box, and you also get rid of a lot of aluminum plates that also reside inside this outer box. This makes the the tx much lighter (approx. 1/4 of the weight). Only problem is that the interference to GPS and possibly other electronics is worsened.I bought this item to start FPV, and right off the start I had issues with the transmitter working properly. The camera worked well, but has an extremely narrow FOV making it nearly impossible to actually fly fpv with it.Very good system for starting with fpv. Although in europe 900Mhz is reserved for the cell phones band, the interference doesnt seem to be as bad after all. I had to change the wiring conectors because they came swithced form the manufacture, but after that, everything was great. I Recomend though making some skew and circular polarized antenas for these system, it will make a huge diference with the stock ones. Recomended product....................................................It actually works!
But you have to modify the cable to the camera (look at the camera-board and notice the printed text by the). Also the transmitter has only 4 channels avaiable (not 8). The worst is that the weight specification of the transmitter is way off; it's actually much heavier cused by the rater heavy aluminium casing.producte de qualitat..funciona molt be....te un recepcion de com a minim 1km. mes no ho se pero segur que si.. perque perdo la senyal del receptor de r.c.

te un pero. pero no se si es del emissor que te molta canya y tapa la senyal del r.c o el tipos d'avio..es redueix molt la senyal r.c. he provat en 2,4 i 35mhz, pero es igual..jo penso que es el tipos d'avio o el cableyat que porta que creei interferencies.
tinc que provar'ho en un altre avio..I bought this system from Hobbyking and installed it in my quadcopter. I got the shock of my life when I completely lost control of the quad (it went full throttle on TX 0pcnt throttle). Fortunately for me I just installed new propellers so although the quad went full power, it didnt leave the ground.
I use a 2.4ghz futaba 7c tx/rx and thought the two were compatible, I now have strong reservations about this product, and wont be putting these two systems together again until I see hard evidence that they can work together.
