I made up two 3 cell packs with these cells, charged them and then tested them on the bench. The motor is a NTM 3530/1100, esc is a 30 amp HK blue series. All I can get out of these packs is 20 amps. What Am I doing wrong?

I'm building a new battery pack for my Motorcycle. I've bought 8 of these, and built two 4S packs that I have wired with balance plugs to each, and then wired into parallel. The packs have metal tabs already spot welded on, which is great for being able to solder to, instead of risking damage to the cell. So far so good. Just waiting for some warmth to test the pack on my bike.

The most hard worker LiFe battery of all. Quality seems to be the same as his 12$ alternative (same info is from other reviewers and testers) and cheaper. Very high current output. Absolutely recommended for heavy duty applications.

Used 2 of these cells together to make a 6.6v flight pack for my T-Rex700 Helibug gasser... working a treat..



Fly about 30-40min air time and put easily under 500mah back in.

I have used eight of these cells to create a 4S2P motorcycle battery pack to replace a failing sealed lead battery. The motorcycle (a Kawasaki ZX636) starts strong and has been running well for over half a year. Saved a couple of kilos weight to!

Kupilem do akumulatorowej wiertarko-wkretarki. Oryginalne Nimh-y szybko sie zuzyly i bardzo krotko trzymaja, nawet jak sie nie uzywa to nie wytrzymaja jednego dnia. Licze, ze te akumulatory beda trzymac odpowiednio dlugo.

Got 120 of these cells to make a 40V 23Ah battery pack for my E-bike.
Have only done about 5 cycles so far but is working good.

I bought several of these a couple of years ago to make up 6.6 volt receiver packs for my larger gas airplanes. I charged and cycled the batteries individually a few times befor assembling them into two cell packs. A couple of the batteries were received in a very low voltage condition and would not charge up/cycle properly. The rest passed my test and went into packs. I used PRODUCT ID: JSTMF-2S-20 balance extension to make up balance leads for each pack. two years later, all three original packs are charging and holding their charge over time quite well. I have subsequently purchased about 10 of HK 2S 2500 LiFE flat packs to replace these at almost the same weight, but much larger. I love the Life's, since you don't need a regulator for most 6 volt capable receivers and servos. Most likely, will never buy anymore A123s since HK now has the PRODUCT ID: Z25002S-5F 6.6volt LiFEpo4s at such an inexpensive price!!
